It’s Chocolate-Covered February in Hershey!
Hershey, Pa. is the town built on chocolate, and for 10 years, they’ve celebrated all things chocolate throughout the month of February with various classes, events, parties — and lots of chocolate.
The celebration kicks off on Friday, Jan. 31 with the Chocolate Dinner Extraordinaire at The Hotel Hershey, featuring a five-course chocolate-infused dinner in the Castilian Room.
Chocolate-Covered February is not only month-long but town-wide. There’s something for chocolate lovers of all ages.

personal top picks for Chocolate-Covered February:
Complimentary Chef’s Demo — Held at 11 a.m. every Saturday in February at The Hotel Hershey and at 2 p.m. each Saturday at the Hershey Lodge, watch and learn specialty dishes be created before your eyes by Hershey’s talented chefs. Plus, enjoy a sweet sample at the end of the demonstration. This event is free.
Wine & Chocolate Pairing — At 4 p.m. every Saturday at The Hotel Hershey, enjoy a variety of wines paired perfectly with HERSHEY’S chocolates. $42/person.
Chocolate & Spirits Pairing — At 3 p.m. every Saturday (starting Feb. 8), learn how to match the flavor profiles of fine spirits with HERSHEY’S chocolate. $45/person.
Beer & Chocolate Pairing — At 3 p.m. on Fridays, Feb. 14 and 28, sample great brews matched perfectly with fine HERSHEY’S chocolates. $30/person
Martini Mixology — Held at 3 p.m. on Fridays, Feb. 7 and 21, this hands-on class will teach you how to make the classic HERSHEY’S chocolate martini, plus other sweet concoctions. $45/person.
Cocoa Facial Experience — If you can only afford one treatment at The Spa at The Hotel Hershey, I say splurge on this 75 minute Cocoa Facial Experience, which not only cleans your skin with chocolate, but starts with a foot soak and includes a shoulder and arm massage while your cocoa mask sets. $170 Monday through Thursday and $180 Friday through Sunday.
Truffles for Couples — The Chocolate Lab at The Hershey Story, The Museum on Chocolate Avenue isn’t just for kids. In this hands-on class, you’ll first learn about the cocoa bean’s origin, then you’ll get your hands right into the chocolate with this truffle-making class. Yum!
