Want to spend a night yukking it up on your visit to the Hershey Harrisburg region? We’ve got the answer for that!
Second Street Comedy Club in downtown Harrisburg hosts a circuit of stand-up comedians every Friday and Saturday night. With names like Dave Coulier and Gilbert Gottfried and Josh Blue, plus many more, it’s a great way to enjoy a night out downtown.
The third floor stage is located in an old nightclub, above the Susquehanna Ale House. Grab a drink on your way up in the lounge, located on the building’s second floor.
The club itself is low-frills. If your party is small, expect to share a table. Complimentary popcorn keeps mouths busy, and tableside drink service is available.
Most tickets are just $10, though some special features are $20.
Also in Harrisburg, the Midtown Scholar Bookstore – Cafe is hosting “Comedy Night at the Scholar” next month — Oct. 18 — during the monthly 3rd in the Burg celebration.
The event will feature and be hosted by local stand-up comedians. This event is free and open to the public. A can’t-miss!
Hershey Theatre also hosts occasional stand-up comedians, including Comedy Central star Gabriel Iglesias on Nov 16 with his Stand-Up Revolution Tour.
On Dec. 8, comedian Brian Regan, best known for his many appearances on The Late Show with David Letterman, will perform at Hershey Theatre.
Tip: Grab dinner at Fenicci’s of Hershey, walking distance from the historic Hershey Theatre — or return afterwards for a late night cocktail.
