Perry County Council of the Arts is hosting an exhibit of Quilted Wall Hangings in the PCCA Gallery now through March 5. It features traditional and contemporary works by local quilters Eniko Ambrus, Ann Hart, Gloria McPherson, Mickey Mohler, Beth Royer, Megan Lloyd-Thompson, and Rebecca Zeigler.
Whoooo! Ned Smith Center for Nature & Art presents its Only Owls Exhibit now through March 14. “Only Owls” brings together artworks in pencil, charcoal, ink, watercolor, and woodcut drawn from the Woodson Art Museum’s collection. Each artwork provides insight into the fascinating world of owls and demonstrates a variety of stylistic approaches by thirty artists.
The Art Association of Harrisburg hosts its semi-annual Five-Artist Invitational Exhibition, starting Feb. 21 with a reception from 5-8 p.m. and running through March 27. This show features sculptures by Todd Fry, oils by Susan Benigni-Landis and Jill Peckelun, monotypes by Sharon McCuen, and photographs by Blair Seitz.
