The 98th Pennsylvania Farm Show runs through Sunday! Learn about Pennsylvania’s number one industry: agriculture. An incredible opportunity to learn about farms, fields and food, bridging the gap between “farm gate and dinner plate.”
Thursday through Saturday, the Farm Show welcomes The First Frontier Circuit Finals Rodeo. Just prior to the rodeo, The Children’s Exceptional Rodeo takes place. This event invites nearly 50 children with physical or mental disabilities between ages 5 and 15 to this special event. The First Frontier Circuit Finals Rodeo is the “greatest show on dirt during the 2014 PA Farm Show” – a must-see. 
The Only Owls Exhibit is another great event for the whole family. Running through March 14 at Ned Smith Center for Nature and Art, “Only Owls” features a variety of artworks from the Woodson Art Museum’s collection, each providing insight into the fascinating world of owls. Features 30 artists’ work!
Whitaker Center for Science and the Arts is featuring Flight of the Butterflies in 3-D at the Select Medical IMAX theatre through Jan. 31. This film follows the work of Dr. Urquhart, a zoologist/biologist passionate about monarch butterflies and their migration pattern through North America.
ZooAmerica North American Wildlife Park is a must-visit on Fridays when admission is just $5.50! See the elk, the bears, the reptiles and more!
“We Are Astronomers” is running through Feb. 23 at The State Museum of Pennsylvania Planetarium. The program reveals the global collaboration, technology and dedication required to answer the unresolved questions of the universe. Appropriate for grades 4 and up – 25 minute program.
